Tonight was a fire kinda night with hotdogs and home made pizzas over the fire. Kids have been so excited all day for our tent camping adventure in the backyard tonight!
I worked a night shift, then picked up groceries, animal feed, and bedding for the pigs on the way home. I slept longer then I planned, but I was beat. We did more school shopping yesterday and enjoyed lunch out as a family. Today hubby worked doing demolition on a house rehab the neighbor kid is doing. (I say he is a kid because I remember when he was born, but really he is 23, married, and having his 2nd baby). But life seems to speed past.
My mother in law said the kids have talked all day about camping tonight when I picked them up. I bought an air mattress and am enjoying some wine prior to our camp out. I haven’t slept in a tent in probably close to 30 years. I am not a camping type person. Give me a cabin please. Lol
Going to enjoy some S’mores and then get teeth brushed and ready for bed. (Although I’m sure it will be a late night of excited or scared kids!)
